1. Seek and speak the truth (instead of arguing to aggravate, seek objectivity) (be honest)
2. Our energy and time are finite and scarce. Don't waste them on inconsequential matters or people. Invest them, for they are your most valuable assets.
3. View life as a single-player game (we come into this world alone and die alone) in which each day is an opportunity to level up and everything that happens to you is good. The goal of the day isn't to satiate oneself with short-term pleasures but to make progress toward an improved self and an improved humanity.
4. Read and acquire knowledge incessantly
5. Be relentlessly inquisitive (ask lots of questions, explore various topics). Questions are your pick axe, use them to mine gold.
6. Remember that nothing is inherently stressful/anxiety-inducing. A well-tuned mind can suppress unwanted emotions.
7. Pursue impact, not kindness/benevolence.
8. Think asymmetrically. Relentlessly chase victories/success while embracing/learning from mistakes/failures without overanalyzing them or beating yourself up.
9. To achieve inordinate results, you have to take inordinate action.
10. When faced with a problem (be it work-related, relational, or mental), don't succumb to your emotions and complain. Use your emotion to take immediate action and rectify/resolve the problem.
11. Believe or fail. If you don't have faith in yourself achieving something, your efforts will be futile.
12. Be inspired by success, not envious.
13. The best amount of alcohol to drink is no alcohol.
14. Never worry about what people think of you. The things we worry about are comical given the unfathomable size of the universe. When you stop worrying, you save energy and heighten focus and cognition.
15. Avoid conflict/drama/non-beneficial altercations
16. Curate your thoughts, don't cave to every desire or irrational, worry-inducing hypothetical. Let them pass.
17. Always be able to explain things simply and concisely. If you can't, you don't know the thing well enough.
18. Meditate, work out, and walk every day.
19. Think independently. Don't mirror the beliefs of others or blindly let someone tell you something can't be done.
20. Play wealth creation games, not status games. Catch yourself when you start thinking about status.
